The Ministry of External Affairs has offered 250 scholarship slots to Nigerians for various programmes under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) initiative.
Through the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indian government is inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for these fully-funded scholarships, which cover a wide range of professional training programmes sponsored by the Government of India.
The training programmes are scheduled to run from April 2025 to March 2026.
Successful applicants will have fully funded scholarships covering tuition and associated costs.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
1. Be Nigerian citizens
2. Hold a first degree or its equivalent.
3. Meet the eligibility requirements for the course applied for (The list of available courses and their deadlines can be found here.).
How to Apply
- Visit www.itecgoi.in.
- Select a preferred course and click on the “Apply” icon.
- Complete the online application form.
- Print out the completed form and submit it to the Indian Mission for processing, through your local government office, along with a recommendation.
In certain cases, applications may also be submitted through partner multilateral organisations/agencies. If applying through such a body, select the organisation/agency during your application process and submit your printed application to them directly.
Interested applicants are kindly encouraged to apply before the deadline closes.
