The African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) has announced a call for applications for the British Academy Writing and Mentoring Workshop for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in West Africa.
This initiative, comprising two in-person interactive workshops, aims to provide cutting-edge research training and development opportunities for ECRs across the region.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be early-career researchers who have completed their PhDs within the past eight years or are near PhD completion.

Be from any social science discipline, including but not limited to Finance, Management, Accounting, Marketing, Tourism, Sustainability, Public Health Management, International Business, and Human Resources.

Submit a full CV and a proposal or idea paper (maximum 1,500 words) that outlines the study’s motivation, research question, theoretical framework, methodology, and data sources.

Be prepared to submit one paper to an international conference and/or journal following the workshop.

Female researchers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applicants should submit a full CV, a 1,500-word proposal, and be prepared to submit a paper to a conference or journal post-workshop. Female researchers are highly encouraged to apply.
