The Federal Ministry of Education, through the Federal Scholarship Board, is inviting Nigerian students currently studying education at colleges of education and universities to apply for the 2024/2025 Education Bursary Awards.

Bursary Information

  • The awards are tenable within Nigeria and take effect from the beginning of the academic session.

  • Recipients cannot hold another scholarship or bursary simultaneously, nor can they apply for part-time studies.

  • Changing course or institution is not allowed during the duration of the award.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be registered full-time students studying education at a recognised Nigerian college of education or university.

  • Be in their second year of study or higher.

  • Not be a beneficiary of any other existing scholarship.

  • Persons living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Letter of Admission from the institution

  • Current CGPA result

  • Certificate of State of Origin
