The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has opened a call for applications for its Youth Capacity Enhancement Programme on Climate Mobility 2025–2026, themed “Accelerating Youth-Led Action in Addressing Climate Mobility in Africa.”
The programme aims to strengthen youth-led civil society organisations (CSOs) across Africa by providing technical training, mentorship, and resources to develop innovative, community-driven solutions to the challenges of climate mobility.
Programme Benefits
Participants in the programme will:

Gain in-depth knowledge on project development, reporting, resource mobilisation, communications, and advocacy.

Connect with IOM experts, fellow youth leaders, and key stakeholders in the climate mobility space.

Showcase their work and contribute youth-led perspectives to regional and global dialogues.

Receive a certificate of completion after successfully participating in all sessions (both online and in person).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be between 18 and 35 years old.

Be nationals of an African country.

Represent a legally registered, youth-led civil society organisation in Africa.

Have 2–5 years of experience leading environmental or social projects at the community level, with at least two projects completed recently.

Submit a project concept for an innovative climate mobility solution that benefits youth and local communities.

Possess a valid passport (valid until at least May 2026) and be able to obtain all required travel, health, and insurance documents.

Be proficient in English, French, Arabic, or Portuguese (local language skills are an added advantage).
