Taiwan is looking to cement its role in the final frontier by inviting international SpaceTech startups to join the prestigious TAcc+ International Program.

This initiative aims to bridge the gap between global innovators and Taiwan’s robust technology supply chain, offering a strategic gateway to the Asia-Pacific market.

The month-long program is designed to facilitate rapid scaling through direct engagement with Taiwanese enterprises and the local startup ecosystem.

Participants will have the chance to network with key industry players and integrate into a world-class manufacturing and technology landscape.

Funding and benefits

One of the immediate draws for international founders is the financial support provided to help bridge the distance.

The program offers a travel subsidy covering one round-trip ticket to Taiwan, with a maximum value of $2,500 USD.

Beyond direct funding, the program provides a suite of high-value services including supply chain matchmaking and corporate innovation tours.

Startups can also benefit from field verification opportunities in cutting-edge sectors such as 5G, maritime, and drone applications.

Application requirements and eligibility

The program is targeting growth-stage companies that are less than 10 years old and have reached at least a Seed round of funding.

Applicants must possess a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and demonstrate an existing partnership with a global space industry player.

Specifically, organizers are seeking innovators specializing in satellite manufacturing, remote sensing, AI applications, edge computing, and ground equipment.

The call also extends to those working in the launch industry and other satellite-related services.

Eligibility is further defined by a company’s readiness to collaborate with Taiwan’s domestic industries.

While many startups are encouraged to apply, those that can demonstrate existing “flight heritage” in their technology will be given preference during the selection process.

Deadline

The clock is ticking for interested entrepreneurs, as the application window officially closes on May 31st, 2026.

Following a series of online pitch reviews in June, the top 12 finalists will be announced in mid-July.

Selected startups will then undergo intensive support and orientation in Taiwan from October 13th through November 9th, 2026.

This period includes exhibition opportunities and tailored innovation tours to maximize the impact of their stay in the region.
