Nigerian graduates are invited to apply for the EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program, an initiative of the US Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria.
The EducationUSA network aims to strengthen American communities and classrooms by assisting top-performing Nigerian students with the funding to cover up-front application costs, thereby attracting top talent to US higher education institutions and fostering global competitiveness.
The scholarship is open for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate
- May/June WAEC results. Students without a ready WAEC result can submit the following documents as alternatives: S1 & SS2 end-of-year report or results of mock WAEC result (in PDF files only).
Postgraduate Courses
- A copy of the university transcript, if available.
- A copy of the statement of result/degree.
- A detailed academic curriculum vitae.
- Scanned copies of any additional certificates of achievement.
- A copy of the GRE result (for engineering students).
Note that all documents must be submitted in PDF formats only.
