Activists, civil society organizations, and government officials are invited to participate in the United Nations’ Sixth Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Scheduled for May 27-28, 2025, the conference will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, under the theme “Unleashing Synergies Towards an Equitable, Climate-Resilient, and Sustainable Future.”

Co-convened by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat, the event is hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. It serves as a critical platform to accelerate integrated climate and sustainable development action worldwide.

  • Innovation & Technology: Leveraging science and technology for sustainable solutions.
  • Country-Led Strategies: Showcasing case studies and best practices for synergistic action.
  • Multistakeholder Partnerships: Strengthening collaboration among governments, the private sector, civil society, and international organisations.
  • Global Milestones: Informing discussions ahead of COP30, the 4th International Financing for Development Conference, and the next round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
