Applications for the AI for Peace Challenge and Hackathon are now open. Amid inequalities, war, and division in the world, Deep Funding, the challenge organizer, aims to unite the global AI community to create AI solutions that promote harmony, understanding, and cooperation at a moment when mankind most needs them.
With the revolutionary concept of AI for Peace at its core, Deep Funding is launching its first-ever RFP Ideation Challenge. At the same time, they’re getting ready for a Hackathon where some of the best ideas from the RFP Ideation Challenge will be turned into actual, useful AI projects and seamlessly integrated into SingularityNET’s marketplace.
By taking part in this New RFP Ideation Challenge, members of their community and others can contribute to the development of AI solutions for global peacemaking. The most creative submissions will influence RFPs for Deep Funding and serve as inspiration for challenge tracks at their upcoming Hackathon!
Why “AI for Peace”?
- Artificial intelligence has a lot of potential, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility. AI for Peace is a vision in which technological advancements are used to promote world peace rather than merely for financial gain or convenience.
- Consider AI systems that;
- Stop disputes from getting worse by using early warning systems.
- Fight false information that incites violence and hatred
- Encourage peacemaking after a conflict by bringing disparate communities together.
- Provide impartial AI technologies to provide equitable access to justice.
- Improve the efficiency of humanitarian aid coordination in disaster areas.
- Developers, thinkers, activists, and visionaries are invited to participate in the AI for Peace Challenge and Hackathon in order to create AI-powered solutions that have the potential to bridge gaps, strengthen communities, and have a long-lasting good influence.
What is the RFP Ideation Challenge?
- Deep Funding believes that great ideas can come from anyone, not just technical experts or AI developers. That’s why they recently launched the RFP Ideation Initiative, a new feature designed to empower both their community members and external contributors to share their ideas and help shape the future of decentralized AI.
- While the RFP Ideation Initiative is generally open to all types of ideas, from community-building initiatives to highly technical AI concepts, the RFP Ideation Challenge will concentrate on specific themes to guide the community’s creativity and align ideas with broader impact goals.
- The RFP Ideation Challenge invites anyone, regardless of background or technical skills, to submit innovative ideas that could become Request for Proposals (RFPs). If your idea is selected, you will be rewarded with $500 in AGIX, and if subsequently advanced as a standard community RFP, you’ll receive a reward of $1000 in AGIX for your valuable contribution.
- For this first challenge, they are focusing exclusively on the theme “AI for Peace”. They are encouraging submissions that explore how artificial intelligence can be used to promote peace, resolve conflict, foster inclusion, and support humanitarian efforts.
AI for Peace Online Hackathon
- Certainly, not every idea submitted during the RFP Ideation Challenge will become a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), but that doesn’t mean those ideas end there. Some of the most promising and inspiring submissions, whether they win or not, will spark the creation of an inspirational track for their upcoming AI for Peace Hackathon. This is a unique opportunity for developers, creatives, and changemakers to collaborate and build real solutions based on the ideas the community has proposed.
Prize Information
- Each winner of the Ideation challenge will receive $500 in AGIX. Ideas that are selected to become RFPs will receive an additional $1,000 in AGIX.
- RFP ideas that weren’t selected as winners still can become RFPs.

- The challenge is open to participants globally.
- The Idea should be suitable to become an AI service that could be developed during their hackathon and onboarded to the SingularityNET marketplace.
