Eligibility Criteria
This competition is open and offered solely to:
- Business entities, regardless of their business area. Startups may be required, in the Organiser’s sole discretion, to provide proof of company registration by submitting a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or ongoing company registration/business profile, or any trade registry and proof ensuring the registration of the entity in the relevant country.
- Any technology-based startups that meet the following conditions are eligible to participate:
- Develops or possesses innovation
- Has been registered within the past 10 years in their country of registration.
- Is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity.
- Intends to become incorporated in Singapore.
This competition is not open to employees and representatives of the Organiser and Agorize and the members of their families.

SLINGSHOT 2025, a renowned global deep tech startup competition based in Singapore, is now open for applications for its ninth edition. This competition provides a global platform for startups to pitch their innovative ideas to key industry leaders and investors. The competition offers significant benefits including a chance to be part of the SLINGSHOT 2025 Top 60 Global Startups, access to more than S$2 million in startup funding, and unparalleled exposure to global investors, accelerators, and corporations. Startups have the opportunity to establish partnerships to help accelerate market entry.
Key funding prizes include a S$400,000 Startup SG Grant for the Grand Winner, S$300,000 for the 1st Runner Up, and S$200,000 for the 2nd Runner Up. Additionally, each of the Top 12 Global Startups will receive a S$60,000 grant. The Top 60 Global Startups will benefit from a sponsored trip to Singapore as part of the Physical Immersion programme, an invitation to compete at SLINGSHOT 2025 Domain Finals, potential eligibility for EntrePass, and other promotional privileges.
Eligible participants include technology-based startups with innovation credentials, registered within the last 10 years, not as subsidiaries of corporate entities, and intending incorporation in Singapore.
