Applications for the 13th cohort of the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme are now open. The programme, a partnership between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and FATE Foundation, empowers ambitious Nigerian entrepreneurs to turn their visions into thriving businesses. For over six years, the programme has supported 220 innovative businesses through 11 successful cohorts.

The program lasts for six months and targets residents of Ogun State. While the funding comes from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos, it is implemented by FATE Foundation.

Structure and Curriculum

The incubation program combines a mix of interactive enterprise training, mentoring, advisory, and business support services to enable each participant to fully develop their idea from a concept to a viable product/service.

The Enterprise Training & Master Classes include concept development; design thinking; market strategy; product/service development; operations management; business model canvas; business plan development; budgeting, financial management and financial reporting; people management; fundraising, digital marketing, and business pitching.

The business support aspect tackles business growth advisory (accounting, legal, tax, HR, marketing, and digital), business registration with the CAC, funding linkages, market linkages, mentoring, and matching with a business mentor.

Who is qualified?

–    You must be between 18 and 35 years old

–    You must be a resident of Ogun State

–    Your business must be at the concept validation stage

–   You business must focus on the circular economy, agriculture, health, water solutions, or tech.

The Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme is inviting applications for its 13th cohort.

This initiative, in collaboration with the Kingdom of the Netherlands and FATE Foundation, aims to empower Nigerian entrepreneurs by turning their business ideas into successful enterprises.

Having supported 220 businesses over 11 successful cohorts, the six-month programme targets residents of Ogun State and is funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos.

The programme offers a comprehensive curriculum featuring enterprise training, mentorship, and business support services.

Participants receive training in various business management areas such as design thinking, market strategy, financial management, fundraising, and digital marketing.

Additionally, they will get business support for growth advisory, business registration, funding, and market linkages.

Each participant has the opportunity to receive up to €30,000 in funding to develop their business.

Eligible applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, reside in Ogun State, and their business should focus on circular economy, agriculture, health, water solutions, or technology at the concept validation stage.
