The NGO Support Initiative (NSI), led by the Development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC) with aid from the Ford Foundation's West Africa Office, is opening applications for its 2025 grant cycle. This initiative aims to endorse registered NGOs in Nigeria involved in social justice, inclusion, gender equality, and humanitarian development. With over three decades in sub-granting and capacity building, dRPC stands as a leading intermediary non-profit in Nigeria.

Eligibility for the grant requires NGOs to be formally registered with at least five years of active programming. While leadership transparency is mandatory, female leadership is not a requisite. NGOs from any region in Nigeria can apply, but activities must conclude within three months. Applicants must also provide supportive documentation, like proof of a prior submission platform.

Successful NGOs will receive a grant of N5 million and gain access to a comprehensive virtual training covering project management, advocacy, financial responsibility, and communication strategies. High-achieving NGOs may even be forwarded to social impact investors for further funding opportunities. Applications must be submitted by May 30, 2025, via the given online platform.
