The African Union (AU), in collaboration with Afreximbank and other strategic partners, has launched the Youth Startup Program to support the next generation of African innovators.
This initiative aims to connect young founders with key players across the continent, offering them a platform to showcase their ideas, gain mentorship, and access valuable networks.

As part of the IATF2025 in Algiers, the Youth Startup Program offers selected startups the chance to:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.

Be a citizen of an AU member state or part of the African diaspora.

Own or co-own a registered startup or have a working prototype addressing health, education, or food security challenges in Africa.

Be available to attend the IATF2025 in Algiers.

Demonstrate a strong interest in innovation, sustainability, or economic development.
