Aspiring changemakers are invited to join a global movement as the 2026 Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition (CEC) officially opens its doors to visionaries worldwide.

This annual event, organized by Stiftung Entrepreneurship, empowers individuals to turn their innovative ideas into real-world solutions for a more sustainable and peaceful future.

Participants are encouraged to develop projects that address the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, tackling critical issues ranging from environmental health to social equality.

Since its inception in 2014, the competition has grown into a massive network connecting members from 141 nations who refuse to settle for the status quo.

Funding and benefits

Participation in the CEC and access to all campus materials are entirely free for every applicant.

This initiative removes financial barriers, ensuring that high-impact ideas can flourish regardless of an entrepreneur’s economic background, providing everyone with the tools to spot opportunities and take action.

Successful applicants gain entry into a vibrant global community where they receive feedback, peer support, and professional input from an international jury.

The platform facilitates collaborative learning, allowing members to form teams, find mentors, and launch initiatives together to achieve faster results.

In addition to networking, the competition provides two specialized online courses focused on Entrepreneurial Design and sustainable business models.

These resources help participants refine their visions, identify opportunities, and build models that are both economically viable and socially valuable.

Application requirements and eligibility

The competition is specifically designed for young entrepreneurs, with eligibility starting fromage 13 and up.

Applicants from all over the world are welcome to submit their social-impact ideas, provided they align with the goal of creating a more sustainable and peaceful world.

The application process involves three distinct phases: initial idea submission via a short pitch, a public voting period where participants support one another, and a final evaluation.

The ten submissions with the highest votes advance to be judged by an expert jury that selects the final winners.

Deadline

The CEC 2026 application and voting window is currently active, running from March 2 until the final closing date of June 5, 2026.

Interested innovators should register on the Entrepreneurship Campus website to begin their journey toward shaping the future.
