The Islamic Development Bank welcomes applications from young graduates for its Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2025.
The YPP is an entry-level talent development program that equips candidates with the knowledge, skills, and network for a fulfilling career in international development.
Applications will be considered from individuals with diverse academic backgrounds, particularly graduates from the following fields.

- Agricultural Economics/Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree in any of the relevant disciplines obtained not less than 4 years from a reputable university.
- Candidates who are pursuing a master’s degree are eligible to apply if the degree will be awarded before the start date of the YPP Program.
- A citizen of a member country of the IsDB; however. up to 25% of selected candidates from each cohort can be from Muslim communities in non-Member Countries
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills. A good command of Arabic or French will be an advantage.
- Age is 32 years or younger by the deadline of the application.
- Willingness to live in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and travel to undertake country assignments as per business requirements, including rotation to an IsDB regional hub.
Priority Candidates
The following qualifications can place a candidate at higher chances of being selected
- A pass with Distinction, Merit, or Honors in their master’s program.
- A copy of transcript showing outstanding academic standing for candidates still pursuing their master’s degree.
- A beneficiary of an IsDB scholarship.
- A good command of Arabic or French.
- A professional certification or a PhD from a reputable institution in a relevant field.
- Relevant professional working experience in any of the IsDB’s core sectors.
