The Global Peace Photo Award, which recognises photographs showing the human quest for beauty and goodness in a peaceful world, is inviting entries for its 2025 iteration.
The award is open to photographers—both professional and amateur—all over the world.
Prize benefits
- A total of €11,000 in cash across six categories
- A cash prize of € 7,000 for the Peace Image of the Year.
- A one-year exhibition in the Austrian Parliament and a permanent inclusion in the art collection of the Austrian Parliament.
- A cash prize of €1,000 for 3 winners in the Stories category.
- €1,000 for a single picture category.
- €1,000 for the Children’s Peace Image of the Year.
- All winning works will be awarded the Alfred Fried Peace Medal and the photographers will be invited to the award ceremony in Vienna in September 2025, with travel expenses and accommodation covered.
- All submitted images will be featured at international exhibitions

The Global Peace Photo Award is accepting entries for its 2025 edition, celebrating photographs that capture human aspirations for beauty and goodness in a peaceful world.
