Art Omi is now accepting applications for its 2025 residency programmes in architecture, visual arts, writing, dance, and music. The residencies are designed to encourage creative exploration and peer-to-peer exchange among international artists.
Selected residents will receive free housing, meals, and studio space. Financial assistance may also be available to cover travel, visa or childcare expenses.
Who can apply
The residencies are open to established professionals in their respective fields. Students are not eligible for the art or dance programmes. Eligible applicants include:

Professional architects

Professional visual artists

Published fiction writers or literary translators

Professional international dancers and choreographers

Professional musicians and composers
How to apply
Applications must be submitted online through the Art Omi portal on Submittable. Applicants should ensure they complete the form corresponding to their discipline.
Deadline
The application deadline for Art Omi: Music is Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Notifications will be sent in December 2025, and the residency will run from August 13 to August 31, 2026.
