The Collaboration on International ICT Policy for East and Southern Africa (CIPESA) is inviting submissions for session proposals and travel support applications for the 2025 Forum for Internet Freedom.

It is an opportunity for individuals to contribute to discussions on internet governance and policy issues affecting East and Southern Africa.

Stakeholders from various backgrounds come together to discuss pressing issues on internet governance, including digital rights, online freedoms, and access to information. In addition to session proposals, CIPESA is also accepting applications for travel support. Priority would be given to proposals that focus on digital inclusion, digital resilience and safety, freedom of expression and access to information, platform accountability, implications of AI, digital economy, digital democracy.
