This initiative supports the development of innovative, research-based solutions to advance food security, sustainability, and resilience worldwide.
The TRC empowers the next generation of researchers and changemakers by providing a platform to present bold ideas for improving agrifood systems. Participants will engage with experts, build their skills, and compete for funding to bring their solutions to life.

Sustainable Aquaculture

Integrated Water Management for Food Security
Solutions that enhance water management in farming and fishing communities facing climate and resource challenges.
Four Phases of the Challenge
Open Call—Submit a two-page concept note detailing your research idea.
Evaluation—Expert reviewers will assess submissions for innovation, feasibility, and impact.
Capacity Building—Semi-finalists join a month-long training program featuring masterclasses and mentorship.
Final Presentations—Finalist teams present their projects during the World Food Forum flagship event in Rome.
