Women In Africa (WIA) Philanthropy has launched the 5th edition of the WIA Young Leaders Program, in partnership with Dior, Lazard, and the audit and consulting firm KPMG.

WIA is inviting young women leaders to apply for the 2025 programme, designed to empower participants with leadership, networking, and innovation skills to elevate their careers and lead impactful projects across Africa and beyond.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be between 25 and 40 years old
  • Be born in an African country or have parents born in an African country
  • Show a demonstrated commitment to Africa’s development
  • Have an outstanding track record of leadership, social impact, and professional excellence

Eligible applicants include:

  • CEOs, ministers, journalists, and business leaders
  • Entrepreneurs, activists, scientists, and community influencers

The selection committee will prioritise diversity of background, leadership potential, and social commitment. Self-taught and non-traditional candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
