The Aubrey Barker Fund (ABF) and FIG Foundation are inviting applications for the 2025-26 Research Grant themed “AI Applications in Surveying and Land Management.”
A grant of up to €20,000 for each successful project to address the theme is available. Anyone or any team from a developing country can apply, provided the project aims to provide lasting benefits to their community and further the knowledge of AI applications in surveying and land management
Other criteria
– Applicants should demonstrate linkage to research their institutions, government, or professional associations.
– Individuals or other entities with experience in research, educational development capability, or experience in surveying and land management can apply
– Where applicants are students or researchers, a supporting letter from a relevant educational institution must be provided.
– All applicants should commit to presenting their research findings at one or more FIG events.
