Thinklab Charity Foundation, a subsidiary of Thinklab Group Limited, has pledged full university scholarships to at least 1,000 deserving students from northern Nigeria. This initiative aims to illuminate the paths for students in Niger, Abuja, Yobe, and Borno States, who aced the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with scores of 200 and higher.

This act of generosity builds on an earlier intervention by the foundation, which covered public examination fees for 10,000 students across northern Nigerian states, where it operates.

The foundation equally provides scholarships to final-year students in secondary school in its host communities, helping students to pursue their aspirations without financial constraints.

Earlier this year, in January, Thinklab extended scholarships to 1,530 final year secondary school students in public schools in Niger State, wracked by banditry and forcing 11,000 children to abandon their education.

The foundation’s act of kindness is especially crucial for such states as Yobe and Borno, which grapple with over 1 million children kept out of school by prolonged insurgency spanning more than a decade.

Thinklab’s scholarships offer a lifeline to thousands of students living in dire financial straits and faced with other adversities that obstruct their path to a glorious future.

Jibrin Muhammad Sarki, Borno State Coordinator of Thinklab Charity Foundation, emphasized the organization’s commitment to education. “At Thinklab, we believe education is the key to unlocking potential and transforming lives, not just for students, but for their communities as well. By supporting these exceptional students, we are investing in future leaders and changemakers.”

While Thinklab’s offer of a tertiary scholarship is one of several pledges for high achievers at the recent UTME, the foundation remains a beacon of hope to underprivileged children in northern Nigeria, inspiring countless others to pursue further education without money constraint

Thinklab Charity Foundation, part of Thinklab Group Limited, has committed to offering full university scholarships to at least 1,000 high-achieving students from northern Nigeria. This initiative targets students who scored 200 or above in the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Niger, Abuja, Yobe, and Borno States. This generous move follows a previous effort where the foundation covered public examination fees for 10,000 students in the region.

The foundation also supports final-year secondary students in its host communities with scholarships, aiming to alleviate financial barriers. Earlier this year, 1,530 students in Niger State benefited from such scholarships, which is particularly significant given the region's educational challenges due to banditry, resulting in 11,000 children dropping out of school.

Thinklab's scholarships are particularly vital for states like Yobe and Borno, which are dealing with the educational disruption caused by prolonged insurgencies, leaving over 1 million children out of school. The foundation's scholarships provide crucial support to students facing financial hardships and other adversities, helping them pursue their educational goals.

Jibrin Muhammad Sarki, Borno State Coordinator of Thinklab Charity Foundation, emphasized the organization's dedication to education, stating that supporting outstanding students is an investment in future leaders and changemakers. Thinklab's tertiary scholarships are part of a broader effort to inspire and support underprivileged children in northern Nigeria, encouraging them to pursue higher education without financial constraints.
