CALLING AFRICAN WRITERS: 2025 fellowship opens for budding writers

The African Liberty, an Africa-based organisation that champions individual freedom and growth through social debates and civil discussions, has opened its application for the 2025 writing fellowship.

The one-year programme will coach promising African writers on the essential skills to produce brilliant articles that match the quality of  top-media publications.

Accepted applicants are required to complete a five-week online course at the end of which 25 candidates will be selected as fellows.

In addition to a monthly stipend, fellows will have their articles published in major media outlets.

Eligibility
The fellowship is open to any applicant that is enrolled in, or has graduated from, an African institution of higher learning. Also eligible for the fellowship is an African pursuing higher education outside the continent.
