Kartina Mira has launched its international art competition for young artists, inviting global talents to explore the theme of national values within global culture.
This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity while creating a space for international cultural exchange.
The Art Competition provides a platform for young creators to convey their nation’s unique identity through various artistic mediums.
By participating, artists contribute to a broader conceptual dialogue on the shared treasury of human culture.
Funding and benefits
Selected winners will receive the prestigious opportunity to showcase their work at the branch of the State Tretyakov Gallery in Samara.
This exhibition offers professional recognition from an international expert community of curators and academicians.
In a significant move to ensure accessibility, the competition organizer covers all travel and accommodation expenses for winners to attend the opening ceremony.
Foreign winners are initially responsible for shipping and visa costs, but these are fully reimbursed upon their arrival at the exhibition.
Beyond the physical exhibition, participants gain the chance to win memorable prizes and have their work documented in official competition brochures.
Finalists also see their exclusive rights transferred to the organizer, ensuring the work’s continued legacy within the project.
Application requirements and eligibility
The Art Competition is open to students, graduates, and independent artists between the ages of 18 and 35, regardless of their origin or religion.
Applicants must ensure they hold a valid international passport if they are entering from outside the Russian Federation.
