As the date for the highly anticipated Prime Woman Hangout 2.0 draws closer, Prime Progress is proud to unveil the two speakers. The March 15 Hangout promises to be super, building on the phenomenal success of the first Hangout that focused on “Balancing Work, Family and Personal Life“.

In the upcoming Hangout, 50 inspiring young women will gather in one of Abuja’s most serene, green, and comfortable venues to discuss and receive guidance on how to “Build Support Networks for Growth” amid a light breakfast, games, mental health exercises (including Yoga), and a strong networking opportunity.

We have carefully chosen the speakers based on their remarkable experience helping communities flourish and thrive. Now, meet the amazing speakers as you get ready for the transformative Prime Woman Hangout 2.0:

 

Hope David Ayabina 

Hope David Ayabina,  known as The Diplomatic Career Mentor, is a visionary reimagining Africa’s future through mentorship and strategic growth. She has dedicated her career to empowering young professionals to navigate diplomatic pathways and unlock their full potentials.

Hope’s journey spans leadership roles, regional organizations, and diplomatic institutions, shaping her expertise in mentorship, leadership development, and building connections. Blossom Ozurumba

Blossom is the Deputy Manager, Digital Engagement at NNPC Limited. She is an innovative brand leader and digital-engagement expert with over nine years of experience in brand strategy, development, and stewardship for Africa’s largest energy company.

As the founding curator and co-founder of the Igbo Wikimedians User Group, she promotes free knowledge that documents the richness of the Igbo language and African culture across various Wikimedia projects. 

Since September 2015, Blossom has been an active Wikimedian, volunteering as a platform administrator and editor. Recently, she joined the Wikimedia Foundation’s Communications Committee, where she collaborates on global communications efforts across the Wikimedia movement.

Both speakers share an ardent belief in the human potential for excellence and greatness. As such, they will analyse the process of their career growth and demonstrate the importance of leveraging meaningful connections for your personal and professional advancement.

In October 2024, 30 women convened in Abuja's Wuse district for the inaugural Prime Woman Hangout, an event enabling them to exchange enriching ideas and build professional connections. Due to its success, another event is scheduled for March with a focus on expanding networks with ambitious women. The theme, “Building Support Networks for Growth,” will feature speakers Hope David Ayabina and Blossom Ozurumba.

Hope David Ayabina, a key figure in Africa’s diplomatic space, specializes in mentorship and leadership and is known for guiding young Africans toward diplomatic careers. Her assertiveness and warmth enhance her mentorship approach. Blossom Ozurumba, an expert in brand strategy and co-founder of the Igbo Wikimedians User Group, has dedicated her career to promoting Igbo culture and free knowledge through Wikimedia projects, further contributing as a Communications Committee member at the Wikimedia Foundation.
