Nigeria’s apex court has today affirmed the election of Ademola Adeleke as Governor of Osun State.
Former Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressive Congress or APC had filed an appeal at the Supreme Court, asking it to set aside the judgment of the Appeal Court, which had earlier nullified the verdict of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which had declared Oyetola as the winner of the July 16, 2022 polls.
