Violence has overtaken some parts of Kano State, as at least 10 ballot boxes have been damaged across several polling units in the Rimin Gado Local Government Area.
Prime Progress' correspondent gathered that people were observing their civic rights peacefully before violent thugs disrupted the process, forcing voters to flee.
Some wards and polling units where the incident happened include Dugurawa, Jujin Kosau, Jili, Yelwa, and Kongi.
The officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) who left the locations for the state's INEC office said they narrowly escaped from the places.
Meanwhile, in some parts of Lagos, voters are standing up to thugs who have been terrorising and suppressing voters since voting started in the morning
