The Innovate for Tomorrow Competition encourages students and young entrepreneurs to design creative solutions that tackle pressing sustainability challenges. The initiative promotes innovation in key areas such as energy, water, and waste management—empowering young minds to build a more sustainable future.

The competition challenges participants to think beyond conventional ideas and create impactful solutions for environmental sustainability. It offers a global platform for innovators to showcase their projects, gain exposure and connect with industry experts and potential investors.
Organised by Dubai Holding, the programme seeks to nurture talent and spark ideas that can be scaled to address real-world challenges.
Prize details
● First-place winner: AED 500,000 and a fully funded opportunity to pilot their solution within Dubai Holding’s ecosystem
● Second-place winner: AED 250,000
● Third-place winner: AED 100,000
In addition to the cash prizes, top teams will receive mentorship, access to resources and continued support to refine and scale their projects. Participants will also have valuable networking opportunities with global industry leaders.
Eligibility
The competition is open to:
● Students and young entrepreneurs aged 18–30
● Individuals or teams passionate about sustainability and innovation
● Applicants from all countries
● Innovators with viable solutions addressing sustainability challenges
Requirements
Applicants must submit an online application that includes:
● A 2-minute video introducing the project
● A 2-page project description outlining the problem, proposed solution, and potential impact
Participants should also provide details about their team, expertise, and motivation.
Selection criteria
A panel of judges will evaluate all submissions based on creativity, innovation and impact potential. Shortlisted teams will advance to the final pitch stage, where they will present their ideas to industry experts and investors.
