Wigwe University has opened its portal for the 2025 Undergraduate Merit Scholarships, designed to support students in easing the financial burden of higher education.
The merit-based awards are available to students enrolling at Wigwe University, Isiokpo, in the 2025 academic session. In addition to reducing tuition costs, the scholarship aims to help exceptional students achieve their academic goals at one of Africa’s leading institutions of higher learning.
Eligibility requirements

Candidates must have chosen Wigwe University, Isiokpo, as their first choice and scored a minimum of 170 in the UTME.

Candidates must ensure their qualifying results are uploaded to the JAMB portal.

Candidates awaiting O’Level results must upload them to JAMB as soon as they are released.

Candidates who fail to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered.

Candidates who did not choose Wigwe University as their first choice but meet the cut-off mark may apply if they change their institution of first choice to Wigwe University on the JAMB portal before the Change of Institution deadline.
Scholarship benefits
Selected candidates will receive partial tuition waivers. The scholarships recognize students with exceptional academic performance, leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
