The Halaqat initiative is offering project grants to support artistic, cultural and community-centred work.
This initiative specifically invites participants to reimagine practices of care across different communities and various disciplines to foster creative and inclusive responses to contemporary social questions concerning equity, empathy and collective well-being.
What’s on offer
For this funding cycle, twenty-six small-scale grants will receive €2,500, with sixteen medium-scale grants getting up to €9,800. Funds will be distributed based on the quality and scale of the proposals received.
Along with mentoring opportunities, successful applicants will get to publicly present their project outcomes via a partnership with local Goethe-Institutes
Who can apply
The initiative welcomes applications from both established and emerging practitioners based in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Belgium
