The Paul Mellon Centre is now accepting applications for its annual Rome Fellowship, offering researchers the opportunity to spend three months at the British School at Rome (BSR).
Focus
The fellowship supports advanced research exploring British–Italian cultural connections from the mediaeval period to the present.
Eligible projects must focus on visual culture and demonstrate strong historical and critical insight.
Fellows are expected to work closely with Roman archives, collections, and the city’s visual landscape—making Rome an essential, active component of their research.
