Photographers, filmmakers, and creators are invited to submit entries for the 8th Annual Film Pipeline Short Film Contest. The context is looking for innovative creators with unconventional yet universally appealing stories.
Benefits include 1-on-1 collaboration with Pipeline executives to develop additional short scripts and consideration of unproduced features or pilots for circulation.
Successful entries will also receive extended promotion of their films, in addition to customized support depending on the filmmakers’ career journey.
Prize awards
Each of the finalists will receive a money prize of $5,000, in addition to development assistance, promotion of their future work, and additional financial consideration.
Entry eligibility
– Each entry should be a standalone scripted short film or proof-of-concept.
– Although there is no limit on runtime, the entry should be considerably short
– All genres are accepted, including non-narrative or experimental shorts. However, submissions must be for a scripted film.
– Documentaries, reality shows, full screenplays, trailers, or director’s reels are not accepted
