The Pulitzer Centre is offering grants for reporting projects that explore the relationship between climate change and workers’ rights. Proposed projects will investigate how the environmental crisis affects jobs and labour conditions while examining the transition to a greener economy.
Funding
The Centre provides grants, usually between $5,000 and $15,000, to cover reporting costs like travel and research. Additionally, grantees receive editorial support with publishing proposed stories in major media outlets.
Who can apply
The grant is open to freelance and staff journalists of any nationality.
Application process
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, meaning there is no firm deadline. Proposals must include the story idea, a reporting plan, a budget as well as work samples. Visit the Pulitzer Centre to apply.
