The scholarship endeavors to financially assist students in Nigerian universities who are pursuing degrees related to the oil and gas industry. The program provides either full or partial funding, covering tuition, books, and other academic needs and is annually renewable based on academic performance.
Eligible applicants must be Nigerian students enrolled in federal or state universities, in their second year of study, maintaining a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or Second Class Upper. Eligible fields of study include Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Pure and Applied Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Medicine, Computer Science, Law, Economics, Accounting, and Business Administration.
To apply, candidates must submit a passport photograph, admission letter, school ID, birth certificate, O'Level results, 100-level academic transcript, local government identification, and proof of origin from an oil-producing community. Applications are to be submitted online via the PICFI scholarship portal by August 16, 2025.
