Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Fellowship is a collaboration involving the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Applicants must:

Be Nigerian citizens residing in Nigeria.

Be affiliated with a Nigerian institution (public, private, non-profit, or NGO) within the One Health ecosystem.

Be under 50 years old.
Eligible candidates include:

Post-doctoral fellows and junior lecturers in epidemiology or biostatistics at universities, NGOs, or research institutes.

Resident doctors in public health or community medicine, especially those affiliated with NGOs.

Data specialists from malaria programs, Stop Transmission of Polio (STOP) cohorts, rapid response teams, or other emergency preparedness initiatives.
