Applications are now open for the 2025 NNPC/Chevron Scholarship, available to qualified secondary- school students and undergraduates in Nigerian universities.

This annual scholarship is a joint initiative of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), designed to support academic excellence and ease the financial burden for deserving students.

Eligible Courses

Students studying the following courses can apply:

  • Accountancy

  • Agricultural Science

  • Architecture

  • Business Administration/Economics

  • Computer Science

  • Environmental Studies/Surveying

  • Geology/Geophysics/Geo-Informatics

  • Law

  • Mass Communication/Journalism

  • Engineering

  • Dentistry

  • Pharmacy

  • Medicine/Surgery

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a full-time second-year (200 level) undergraduate student in a Nigerian university.

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent).

  • Have at least six O’Level credits in one sitting.

Visually impaired students must:

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.

  • Have at least five O-Level credits.

Required Documents

Applicants must upload clear copies of the following:

  • Recent passport photograph (not older than 6 months; 450x450px, max 200KB)

  • School ID card

  • Admission letter

  • Birth certificate

  • O-Level result

  • JAMB result

  • Local Government Area (LGA) certificate of origin
