Young Nigerian entrepreneurs and business owners are invited to apply for the Regis Ohia Foundation grants.

The focus areas are agribusiness, healthcare, education, and recycling.

Funding and other benefits

  • Selected applicants stand to win funding prizes: ₦2.5 million for first place, ₦1.5 million for second, and ₦1 million for third.
  • Benefits also get tailored business training, mentorship from industry leaders, networking opportunities, media exposure, and certificates of participation.
  • The program includes a four-week virtual Accelerator Program in September 2025, followed by a final physical pitch event in Lekki, Lagos, on 31st October.

Application criteria

  • Eligible applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged 18-40
  • They must be founders of legally registered businesses (with a CAC certificate) and have an active business within 1 to 4 years of operation.
  • Participants must also commit to attending all virtual sessions and follow the foundation’s social media pages.
  • Interested entrepreneurs must provide personal and business details, including a CAC registration certificate and a two-minute video pitch.

Deadlines

  • The application process involves four stages:submission by 31st August
  • Selection of the top 50 candidates for the Accelerator Program, a physical pitch for qualifying participants, and the final grant announcement on 8th November at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
