The Ruth Titilayo Foundation is inviting applications for its undergraduate scholarship programme, created to support outstanding students in Nigerian public universities who are facing financial challenges.
The initiative aims to ease the burden of tuition and related costs, enabling recipients to focus on their studies and successfully complete their education.
What the scholarship offers
The scholarship may cover all or part of a student’s expenses, depending on need. Benefits include:

Tuition allowance of up to ₦100,000

Maintenance allowance of up to ₦20,000

Additional support such as internal travel costs, research-related expenses, and fieldwork support (at the discretion of the committee).
Who can apply
The programme is open to undergraduate students who have shown academic excellence and financial need. Applicants must:

Be enrolled in a public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

Have successfully completed their first year (100 level) of study.

Hold a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent).

Demonstrate clear financial need.

Be under 25 years of age at the time of application.

A 500-word statement of purpose outlining academic goals and financial circumstances
Deadline
The application window closes on 31 October 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted from 11 November 2025, with interviews to follow in December 2025. Scholarships will then be awarded to successful applicants.
