Women professionals from Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Zambia are invited to apply for the Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship.
The fellowship by the Rocky Mountain Institute is designed to empower emerging women leaders with the skills, networks, and resources needed to drive the clean energy transition in their countries and beyond.
The benefits range from technical training on distributed energy resources and local business models to exposure to project management skills like risk mitigation, procurement, and finance.
There is also group mentorship with women energy leaders from across sectors, peer networking with other passionate women across the region, and a capstone project to develop a clean energy policy, initiative, or strategy in their countries.
Lastly, selected fellows will be invited to a 3-day in-person leadership workshop in November 2025. This advanced training will focus on hands-on leadership skills for women leading clean energy projects or shaping policy.
Who qualifies?
– The fellowship is looking for women working on clean energy projects or policies in the targeted countries: Nigeria, Ethiopia, or Zambia.
– Ideal candidates are those with passion for leadership, innovation, and social impact in the energy space.
– But they must also have a burning desire to grow their networks and drive meaningful change in their communities.
