The Liveability Challenge is a global competition inviting groundbreaking solutions to build more sustainable and liveable cities in Asia. It provides a platform for innovators to pitch their ideas at the Grand Finale during Ecosperity Week.
Focus and funding
The 2026 challenge spotlights two key tracks: Climate Change and Food & Nutrition.

The grand winner will secure up to S$2.5 million in funding opportunities.

Each track winner will also receive S$100,000, alongside mentorship, exclusive workshops, and additional prizes.
Who can apply

Open to applicants worldwide.

Solutions must demonstrate proof of concept with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6 or above.

Projects should be applicable to urban contexts, with a focus on Asia.

Applicants must not have previously raised more than S$5 million in funding.
Deadline
Submit proposals via the online portal by February 9, 2026.
