Applications are now open for Cohort 4 of the Accelerate Africa Program—an accelerator designed for bold, visionary founders building early-stage startups that tackle some of Africa’s most pressing challenges.

This cohort-based program is tailored for entrepreneurs who are not only solving real problems but are also laying the foundation for scalable, global-impact businesses.

  • Holistic Founder Support: Enjoy workshops, expert coaching, and office hours covering technology, legal, and finance needs.

  • Flexible Funding: While the program itself doesn’t offer automatic funding or take equity, founders are eligible for optional post-program investments through the Accelerate Africa Fund. In addition, Future Africa may invest between $250,000 and $500,000 at the pre-seed or seed stage—subject to due diligence and investment committee approval.

  • Be passionate about solving a real, well-defined problem—with the traction or track record to prove it.

  • Deeply understand and feel connected to their customers.

  • Have lived experience of the problem they’re solving and the resilience to build solutions that may seem impossible at first.
