Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU) has officially launched the application process for its 2026 Applied Technology Training Program (ATTP).
This initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with the essential skills required for entry-level technician roles within the competitive oil and gas sector.
The program operates as a foundation-level training scheme approved by City and Guilds. It is designed to transform participants into skilled professionals through rigorous instruction at the Seplat Energy Technical Training Center (TTC) in Eket, Akwa Ibom.
Scheduled to run for approximately 23 months, the ATTP offers a robust hands-on learning experience.
Trainees will be mentored by renowned experts within a world-class organizational environment to help shape the future of energy.
Benefits
The primary benefit of the program is the specialized education provided by industry leaders. Upon successful completion, candidates receive both a SEPNU certificate of completion and a prestigious City & Guilds certificate in applied engineering technology.

Application requirements
To be eligible, applicants must be Nigerian citizens who hold a National Diploma (ND) in specific engineering disciplines. These include Chemical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering Technology.
Candidates must have graduated with a minimum of an Upper Credit no earlier than 2023. Seplat Energy is specifically targets those with an ND; the sources explicitly state that individuals holding higher qualifications will not be considered.
Additionally, all applicants are required to possess a government-issued Identity card, such as a National ID, Voter’s Card, Driver’s License or International Passport.
