The Federal Government has announced the list of shortlisted candidates for the Computer-Based Test stage of the recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service and the Nigerian Correctional Service.
In a statement released in Abuja, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board has announced that applicants for the recruitment can now check their status through the portal.
Applicants should confirm their names, centres and exam dates starting from Thursday, October 30, 2025. According to the Board, applicants should only use the designated portal and shun other unofficial websites to avoid being a victim of recruitment scammers.
The Computer-Based Test is the next phase of the national recruitment exercise for the four paramilitary agencies. Successful applicants who pass the CBT will proceed to the other stages of the recruitment exercise.
All shortlisted candidates must strictly follow their schedules for the exams, as failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
This recruitment round forms part of the broader government initiative to increase the transparency and efficiency of recruitment to the civil service.
The implementation of a digital shortlisting and testing platform seeks to reduce errors from human involvement in the recruitment drive.
The Board appeals to all applicants to remain patient and vigilant during the whole process. They should monitor the official recruitment website for updates.
Again, confirm your status via this portal.
