The European Commission has opened a call for grant applications designed to bolster the capacity of organizations to operate at a transnational level.
This framework is intended to help entities enhance the quality and relevance of their activities while expanding their partner networks.
Selected participants are encouraged to share innovative practices and develop new methods through joint initiatives that foster peer learning.
The program seeks to produce transdisciplinary results that are reusable and transferable across different local, national, and regional levels.
Funding and benefits
Total funding for these projects is available up to €5,000,000 to support transnational cooperation and knowledge exchange.
These grants are intended to create incentives for cross-sectoral and horizontal cooperation across various thematic areas.
Support is structured through three predefined lump-sum tiers of €120,000, €250,000, and €400,000 per project. Partnerships provide a structured framework for organizations to collaborate closely and strengthen international cooperation through outcome-oriented activities.
Organizations are expected to disseminate their results widely to ensure that innovative learnings can be adapted across different countries. This wide reach helps maximize the impact of the activities and ensures that ideas can be shared and confronted effectively.
Application requirements and eligibility
Any organization legally established for at least two years in an European Commission Member State or associated third country is eligible to apply as a coordinator. The applicant coordinator must submit the proposal on behalf of all participating organizations involved in the joint initiative.
Specific requirements apply to European NGOs active in the fields of education, training, or youth. These NGO-led partnerships are managed directly by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) rather than national bodies.
Deadline
Applicants must ensure their proposals align with the specific policy frameworks and priorities of their relevant Erasmus+ sector. All submissions must be completed before the application deadline established for the specific funding cycle.
