The French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights (CNCDH) has opened applications for the 2025 French Republic Human Rights Prize, inviting individuals and non-governmental organizations to apply.
This annual award, established in 1988, aims to recognize and support field projects that promote and protect human rights. For this edition, the prize is specifically focused on combatting Trafficking and Exploitation of Children.
Applicants should propose field projects that operate with a human rights approach, working to prevent and fight against the trafficking and exploitation of children while upholding children’s rights.
Projects that offer comprehensive support for young people, implement transformative actions, ensure restorative efforts, and actively involve children themselves will be highly valued.
Such initiatives can include public awareness campaigns, identifying victims, providing rehabilitation, training professionals, advocating for policy changes, or ensuring access to justice.
Five outstanding projects will be awarded the prestigious Human Rights Prize, and five additional projects will receive a “Special Mention”.
To be considered, a complete application dossier, written in French, must be submitted to the CNCDH general secretariat by the deadline of September 14, 2025, at midnight.
