Who can apply for the Cassava Republic Press competition?
The competition is specifically aimed at supporting new talent, and therefore, applicants must meet a few key qualifications.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom.
- Not have previously designed a book cover for a major publisher, defined as one with over 20 employees.
How to apply
To enter the competition, interested individuals are required to submit an application package consisting of two parts.
They must provide a portfolio with three to five pieces of their design work to demonstrate their style and range.
This portfolio should be in PDF format and no larger than 10MB. Additionally, applicants must include a cover letter, with a maximum of 500 words, detailing their interest in the project and their design philosophy.
