Afrobarometer is inviting applications for its Africa Judicial Independence Fund (AJIF)—an initiative dedicated to promoting strong, independent judicial systems across the African continent.

In partnership with judicial bodies, civil society organisations, academia, and development partners, AJIF works to foster best practices, build institutional capacity, and address systemic challenges affecting judicial independence in Africa.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Have professional experience in media production or related fields.

  • Possess the equipment and capacity to provide live streaming services.

  • Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and personnel required to deliver high-quality services.

Application Requirements

  • A link to the company’s portfolio, including at least four examples each of previous photo and video productions.

  • Reference letters from at least three past clients.

  • Valid practice certification or license for the organisation.

  • A detailed breakdown of proposed fees for the services.

  • Information on the organisation’s ownership and diversity status (e.g., minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, disability-owned, or small enterprise). Please include relevant certification if applicable.

  • A one-page statement outlining the applicant’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility, aligned with Afrobarometer’s Supplier Diversity and Sustainability standards.
