The Patchwork Collective in partnership with Lever for Change is iniviting applications for its Emerging Climate Champions Award, which honours youth-led initiatives promoting sustainable solutions to climate crises.

The Award welcomes eligible organizations working within the spectrum of climate issues and solutions, including areas such as education, movement building, climate justice, science/technology, economic opportunity, community resilience, conservation, advocacy, sustainable agriculture, and disaster preparedness.

The award is open to organisations from all around the world, including those from historically under-resourced and/or under-represented communities, such as Indigenous-led organizations, women-led organizations, grassroots organizations, and others.

Recipients will be announced in 2026 Summer.

Benefits

Selected organisations will receive perks of up to $1 million, disbursed over five years.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested organisations should:

  • Be led by vibrant leaders between the ages of 15 and 35.
  • Have been in operation for at least two years as of August 15, 2025.
  • Have demonstrated experience, impact potential, and measurable results in advancing durable climate solutions in the communities they serve.

Additionally, they must demonstrate significant impact and potential in furthering sustainable climate actions in their communities.
