The Asia House Fellowship Programme is a 12-month research opportunity for early-career professionals to explore issues shaping Asia and the Middle East.
The programme is open to all nationalities and can be completed remotely. The focus is on original research in geopolitics and trade, technology and data, or energy and sustainability.
The aim is to support research that informs business and policy decisions.
Funding and benefits
Fellows receive a £24,000 stipend, research support, mentorship, and leadership advice.
They also get access to Asia House’s business and policy programme and network.
Eligibility criteria
People who can apply:
- – Have a Master’s or PhD by October 2026
- – Fluent in written and spoken English
- – Early-stage career with leadership potential
- – Knowledge of economic, political, or commercial issues in Asia and/or Middle East
Application requirements
Applicants must submit:
- – A CV (max 2 pages) with academic background and leadership experience
- – A personal statement explaining motivation and project leadership example
- – An outline of proposed research project (max 2 pages)
- – Two professional or academic references
