  • Beyond funding, the program offers expert advice, technical know-how, and access to networks in over 60 countries around the world.
  • Funding decisions are made through idea competitions, which are held twice a year. If selected, your project will be supported by either DEG Impulse gGmbH or GIZ GmbH, both well-known development partners.

Who can apply?

  • The program is open to many sectors, including education, energy, environment, agriculture, food, technology, and digitalisation.
  • The key is that the business interest must also bring clear benefits to people and communities
  • To apply, companies must be based in a member state of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the EU, or an EFTA country country. They also need to show they have enough staff, money, and experience to handle the project.

  • Annual turnover of 800,000 euros or more
  • Two audited financial reports, positive net income, and strong equity and liquidity to cover your share of costs.
