Deloitte is offering scholarships to young, innovative youths who are passionate about climate change and committed to building a sustainable future.

Through its global initiatives—WorldClass and WorldClimate—Deloitte aims to expand opportunities for 100 million people worldwide by 2030, while also addressing climate change both within the organisation and beyond.

As a longstanding partner of One Young World, Deloitte is once again offering a unique opportunity in 2025. The firm will sponsor eight outstanding young leaders—four focused on education and four on climate—to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany, from 3–6 November 2025.

This scholarship supports young individuals who are pioneering innovative solutions to either address the causes and effects of climate change and protect natural ecosystems or transform education and skills development for the future workforce.

Applicant Focus Areas

Applicants should ensure that their application focuses on:

  1. Climate Innovation:
  • Developing AI-driven or technological solutions that reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability.
  • Ensuring the sustainable deployment of AI solutions by developing innovative methods to reduce energy and water consumption in AI systems, promoting responsible resource use, and mitigating electronic waste.
  • Protecting and restoring biodiversity by monitoring ecosystems, preventing deforestation, reducing habitat destruction, or supporting conservation efforts.
  • Using data science, machine learning, or automation to predict and mitigate climate risks.
  1. Education and Skills Development:
  • Using AI or technology to improve access to quality education and bridge skills gaps–particularly digital skills gaps–for under-represented groups, including women, girls, and disadvantaged youth.
  • Developing innovative education and training solutions that equip individuals with future-proof skills to ensure they can thrive in our evolving digital economies.
  • Expanding education and training programs to include green skills, preparing individuals for jobs in the sustainable economy.
  • Promoting upskilling initiatives that foster social entrepreneurship and innovation.

Selected Deloitte scholars will receive:

  • Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich.
  • Hotel accommodation in a private room between 2 – 6 November 2025 (travel restrictions permiting)
  • Round-trip economy class travel to Munich.
  • Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner (provided by the hotel and during the Summit)
  • Ground transportation between Summit venues
  • Participation in Deloitte-hosted sessions before and during the Summit.
  • A dedicated Deloitte “buddy” to support your journey.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

  • Be aged 18–30 (Applications from individuals over 30 may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional impact and initiative. Those under 18 are not eligible.)
  • Be nationals of any country but must be based in a country where Deloitte operates.
  • Show keen commitment to positive change.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership ability.
  • Exhibit an understanding of key and global challenges.
  • Have a track record of impactful and innovative solutions in either climate action or education and skills development.

This scholarship will enable eight young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich in November 2025.
